The Foundation has awarded the Black Dog Institute a grant of $25,000 to increase the skill and confidence of health professionals in rural settings.  The Black Dog Institute will be delivering mental health educational workshops in rural and regional areas of VIC, QLD, SA, and WA. This will help health professionals in rural settings with diagnosing and managing depression and suicidality and improving knowledge of resources and referral services available to them in caring for mentally unwell patients.
